Although I have always had a fascination with trains, it wasn't until the death of my brother in early 2005 that helped to kickstart my interest in train evolution and photography, and I now spend just about every spare moment out chasing trains. Fortunately, my work in energy management has given me the opportunity to travel across Canada, and with this country's rich rail history, there is much to photograph in just about every town and city. I also live relatively close to main CN and CP lines around the Toronto area, and my home is near the Stouffville GO Station - so I regularly travel by train to downtown Toronto and back on business.
I also like to photograph old things, like barns and tractors, and anything interesting and colorful that Mother Nature lays before me and my camera.
